Army construction guidelines:

All armies must consist of :

1 Combined Arms Detachments* (or codex specific equivalent, such as Inquisition or Orks)

*Only non-superheavy vehicles/walkers/fliers and non gargantuan/flying gargantuan Lords of War may be selected.

In addition a player may choose a single selection to add to their army from the following list:

—————–

0-1 Allied Detachment

0-1 Formation

0-1 Unit From a Dataslate (Be’Lakor, Cypher etc.)

1 Additional Combined Arms Detachment* (or codex specific equivalent, such as Inquisition or Orks)

*Only non-superheavy vehicles/walkers/fliers and non gargantuan/flying gargantuan Lords of War may be selected.

—————–

Army Lists and Units from Forgeworld sources may not be used. However Forgeworld models may be used to represent models in the appropriate codex. For instance a FW Plague Toad would be a fine representation for a Beast of Nurgle.

Model Guidelines:

All models must be fully painted to a 3-Color Standard

All models must at minimum have a painted base unless they are on a clear flying stand.

All models in the army must be WYSIWYG for ease of play. Wargear such as meltabombs, grenades, extra armor, and pistols do not need to be modeled.  However they must be clearly declared on your army list.

Counts-as conversions must be consistent and be a reasonable representation of what they intend to represent. They must look reasonably able to fit into the aesthetic of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This is up to the judge’s discretion.

Modeling for advantage will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Notes on Sportsmanship:

All players are expected to play their games in a polite manner in a good faith effort to play the game to the full turn limit. Slow playing in an effort to game the clock will not be tolerated. Players which are abusive (verbally or physically) will not be tolerated and may be ejected from the event with no refund.

Rules Disputes:

Players are encouraged to resolve rules disputes with their opponent without outside intervention. Should it be impossible to reach an agreeable consensus a judge may be called to the table to make a ruling. The judge will make all reasonable efforts to come to the best/most logical rules interpretation in cases where the rules as they are written are not clear. The judge’s ruling is final. Even if the judge’s ruling is later found to be incorrect the ruling will still stand for that specific instance (like a bad call in sports).
